How does SMSParking Work?
Why flexible?
Vehicle registration numbers are not connected to phone numbers. You can enter a different registration number every time you send a SMS message to start a parking.
Parking via SMSParking
- Park your car.
- You send a sms message (Zone{space}registration number) to 4030 to start the parking.
- You receive a sms message within seconds with all the information of your parking action.
- Do your thing (shopping, meeting, visiting a friend)
- Send SMS (the letter “q”) to end parking.
- You receive a sms message within seconds with all the information of your parking action.
- You drive away.
Checking your license plate?
The controller scans your license plate and determines if you are using SMSParking.
Connecting license plate to your phone number - SMSParking does this automatically!
If you park twice in a row with the same car, you do not need to enter your license plate in the sms message the second time. SMSParking will use the license plate that you entered the last time you used SMSParking.
Paying your Parking Fee!
You pay afterwards. The money will be collected automatically from the account you registered at SMSParking. On www.smsparking.nl you can login to your personal SMSParking page where you can find all the information about your parking actions and you can see the actual status of the amount of money you spent that month.
